Admissions

General info:

Saint Brigid Academy is a Kindergarten – 8th Grade Catholic micro-school providing ages 4.5 – 14 with individualized education for students who are gifted & talented, neurodiverse, or on a traditional education path.​ We accept applications all year round at grade level K – 7th.​

Please read the following note from the Head of School regarding our transition to Saint Brigid Academy in Summer 2024.

Before you apply...

For Kindergarten, your child must turn five years old by December 1st of the school year of entry. 

​

Any transfer request in the final trimester of any school year or for transfer into the 8th-grade classroom will be reviewed case-by-case.

Step 1:

Tour 

​

The first step to becoming a Saint Brigid "Blue Angel" Family is to take a tour of our conveniently located Pacific Heights campus.

 

Tours are designed to allow you to get to know Saint Brigid  and ask any questions about the admissions process.

Step 2:

Application & Required Forms*

 

  • Saint Brigid online Application, click HERE. (required)

  • Child's Birth Certificate (required)

  • Student Recommendation Form, from your child's current teacher or preschool director (required): click HERE.

  • Two Recent Report Cards, for Transfer Students in grades 1-8 only. (required)

  • $100 Non-Refundable Application Fee, payable online or by check. (required) click HERE

  • Child's Baptism Certificate (optional)

  • A recent family photograph (optional)

​Important Notice

​

You must complete all the required forms before Saint Brigid can process your application. 

Step 3:

Assessment or Shadow Days 

​

An invitation to the assessment and/or shadow day will be emailed after Saint Brigid receives all the required documents listed above and the application fee payment. It can take up to two weeks to receive your assessment invitation email after the school receives all the documents.

Decision Email

 

Interested families will be notified by email of Saint Brigid admissions decision 2-4 weeks after completion of the assessment/shadow day and application form.
 
For transfer students in grades 1st – 7th of the current school year. All decision emails will be sent on a rolling basis as steps 1 – 3 are completed by the applicant. 
 
Waitlisted applicants are students who have been accepted to Saint Brigid but waitlisted due to class size. In the case of a waitlist, your family will be notified when an opening in the classroom becomes available.
